Day 3 into my 35 Days/People and Me Blog. As mentioned previously, my 35th birthday is just a few weeks away and instead of just planning a party or making big plans on what I could do for me, I thought I’d take time and share about some of the people in my world who have influenced me (through the good, the bad and sometimes ugly times), to become the woman I am today!
Day THREE: Nicole Ferrari, also known as… Sister!
I have to say that there were times when I wished so much for more siblings because it would’ve been a bigger party all the time, but the older I get the more I realize how incredibly thankful I am, that it’s just me and you!!! Our lives have gone directions I think we both hadn’t necessarily “planned” but watching you become a wife, an awesome mom to 4 amazing children, a creative, skilled, talented woman and amazing friend… the more I see how much of our lives are similar. Yes the outworking of our daily lives are different, but the core of who we is the same — love for others and living our lives fully! THANK You for being an amazing sister! For loving me, even when I questioned that, in the midst of eating mud-pies and telling me to “shush” while I was screaming/tattling… I love knowing you have my back and that no matter where we are on the planet that being sisters will always be! Thanks for the creative gifts, for knowing one of my love-languages is Diet Coke and Cheese curls. Thanks for investing in our friendship, not just sisterhood.
- Nicole, you are an amazingly inspiring woman!!! Thanks for being a beautiful, fun, caring and encouraging presence in my world! I wouldn’t want to do life without you and I sooooooo look forward to watching the continuing story of our lives unfold! Much LOVE to you —-
